Curt is a Montana native from Big Sandy MT and a graduate of Montana State University with a BA in Public Relations and a BS in Marketing. Curt has an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management also known as Thunderbird. 

Curt is also a licensed Realtor in the state of Montana and is affiliated with Ideal Real Estate in Kalispell MT. Curt and Architect husband, James Kottke, have been building, renovating, and investing in residential real estate for over 30 years and are currently building in Whitefish MT and the Arcadia district in Phoenix AZ. 

Curt has been a mortgage lender for over 30 years He has owned his own mortgage company, been a producing manager, and a loan originator throughout his career. Although Curt has originated the full gamut of residential lending, he and his loan partner, Lorrie Larson, have originated Reverse Mortgages, or HECMs as they are technically referred to, for over 22 years. Curt and Lorrie have originated and funded over 1200 Reverse Mortgages.  Curt is a licensed originator in MT, AZ, and CA. Through his company Curt can close Reverse Mortgages in over 37 states.
