We pride ourselves on offering more than 80 credit hours of classes every year so our members can expand their industry expertise and advance in their careers.
2024 Classes - all classes for 2024 will be open for registration at noon on 1/2/2024.
NMAR Member Vouchers - for one low price ($130.00 for 2024), members can purchase a professional development voucher that all regular CE courses offered by NMAR throughout the education year (11/1 - 10/31). Non-Member Prices - Non-members will purchase classes on an individual basis. Cost is $20/credit hour per class.
Registration Deadlines for all courses - Registration for all courses closes at noon the day before each course.
Classroom Rules - the Montana Board of Realty Regulation requires that we monitor every class and all attendees to ensure that all attendees are present and have the opportunity to ask questions. This is why all classes are monitored. Rules are specific for attendance. There is a slight difference in virtual vs in-person. Please make sure you read the rules, you will be agreeing to abide by these rules when you register for classes.

This course is designed for agents considering entering the commercial real estate industry. Agents will understand how the entrance to commercial real estate vastly differs from the entrance to residential real estate. A discussion will be held on the tools required and competency skills essential to representing commercial clients. What timelines are expected on transactions and expenses required and accounted for to enter the commercial real estate industry? What it will take to compete against other seasoned commercial agents and brokers in the commercial industry. The misconception is that working in both residential and commercial simultaneously will not affect your client base retention.
The many commercial property types available to purchase or lease will be discovered. Discussion of the Class types in commercial properties and how they are established. Dive into the many different types of commercial leases. Differences between improved and unimproved commercial property from the listing side and a look at the buyer's point of view. Uncover they whys of commercial real estate specializations transaction compensation.
This is an ideal introductory course for those who are newly licensed and/or residential agents who want to learn more about commercial real estate.
